In partnership with the NGO EEJII, we have created a new project that combines tour and volunteering activities. You’ll experience the nomadic culture and way of living and take part in meaningful local projects. With our Amarbayasgalant Monastery tour, you will have the opportunity to spend a few days in the monastery, living alongside the monks, learning their way of living, the Buddhist philosophy, and teaching English to the younger monks. Amarbayasgalant Monastery is one of the largest of Mongolia. At the moment 30 monks live in the Monastery, with almost half of them between 7 and 13 years old, who have for a great part been picked up from orphanages. The difficulty to find teachers for the monastery makes our volunteering activities and your contribution very important.

From enjoying the green steppe of the Khustai National Park and it's rich wildlife, wild deers, and the Prezwalski horses, last wild horses of Mongolia. Continuing towards the sand dunes of the Elsen Tasarkai National Park and ride camels. Finally we'll reach the ancient city of Kharkhorin and it's famous Erdenee Zuu Monastery. A stop by the Ogii Lake and visiting a nomadic family, and 5 days later you'll be back in Ulaanbaatar.

The 3-day festival features traditional Mongolian sports like wrestling, horse racing, and archery. The festival’s opening ceremony is the highlight with many shows and artistic performances. Almost everyone dresses in their most beautiful and traditional outfits known as ‘Deel’, which are created in rich colors. Even though the main event is held in Ulaanbaatar, it is celebrated all over the country.

The Black Lake, Khagiin Khar Nuur, is on of the 8 beautiful places in Mongolia. It's hidden deep in the forests of the Khan Khentii Mountains. It's one of the most beautiful places in Mongolia, with many wild animals and around 250 species of birds. It's not possible to reach the lake by car, it can only be done by horse. We will drive for about 100 kms in the Terelj National Park area and then we will meet our horse guide.
