Nomadic Lifestyle Tour In Amarbayasgalant Monastery
Join us on a captivating journey to the serene Amarbayasgalant Monastery, one of Mongolia's most revered spiritual sites. This unique tour not only takes you to the tranquil grounds of the monastery but also immerses you in the traditions of Mongolia's nomadic culture. As you explore the monastery, you’ll learn about the rich history and beautiful architecture of this sacred place, founded in the 18th century. It is nowadays home to about 25 monks that live in the monastery and practice their faith. You will witness their daily rituals and learn about insight into their meditative lifestyle. In addition to your visit to the monastery, you’ll stay in a traditional ger with a local nomadic host family. Experience the rich traditions and learn about the customs of Mongolia nomads as you stay in a traditional ger, and take part in the daily activities of the family : herding livestock, milking goats, crafting traditional crafts and preparing traditional dishes.
