Join us on a captivating journey to the serene Amarbayasgalant Monastery, one of Mongolia's most revered spiritual sites. It is nowadays home to about 25 monks that live in the monastery and practice their faith. You will witness their daily rituals and learn about insight into their meditative lifestyle. In addition to your visit to the monastery, you’ll stay in a traditional ger with a local nomadic host family. Experience the rich traditions and learn about the customs of Mongolia nomads as you stay in a traditional ger, and take part in the daily activities of the family : herding livestock, milking goats, crafting traditional crafts and preparing traditional dishes. You will witness stunning scenery and a unique and welcoming culture. From the dunes and canyons of the Gobi Desert, to the blue clearwater of the Khuvsgul and White lakes, passing by the green grass of the central steppes.
