Overview

For the next 2 days, stay close to a Kazakh hunting family and take part in hunting in the area of Huren Mountain–a place known for being inhabited with a large population of wolves. Part of the hunting will be done by foot, the other part by vehicle. You will use bait to attract the animals.

Tour Plan

We will leave Ulaanbaatar at 9:00 am and drive to Darkhan, the capital city of the Darkhan Uul province.

We will stop briefly in Darkhan to eat lunch and visit some local attractions. From Darkhan we will drive west to reach the Iven Valley and the Amarbaysgalant Monastery by the afternoon. We will visit the Amarbaysgalant Monastery and eat dinner.

We will spend a night in the ger camp of a local family. Lunch and dinner.
